Dramia is a small village, approx. 500 m from the sea with a amazing view of the bay of Almirida and the rocks of Apokoronas. There is a spectacular  view to the west of the Lefka Ori (white mountains) . Dramia is 30 km  from Chania and 10 km from Rethymnon. Chania Airport is 40 km and Heraklion Airport 100 km.

Close to Dramia is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Crete, from Kavros to Georgiopoulis . In wintertime it is very quiet (although daily shopping can be done), but Chania and Rethymnon are still lively. Also nearby is the famous lake of Kournas, the only sweet water lake in Crete.
